Leaf pick-up by town employees will begin Monday, October 22, 2018, and will run through November 30, 2018. Any leaves put out after November 30th will be the responsibility of the property owner or renter.
Leaves for pick-up must be raked to the edge of streets if there is no curb or gutter. For those residents with curbs and gutters, leaves must be raked into the road near the gutter leaving a space between the leaves and gutter for storm water to drain.
- Please maintain the leaf pile once it has been raked to the pick-up area.
- DO NOT PLACE LIMBS OR GRASS CLIPPINGS WITH YOUR LEAVES. THESE WILL NOT BE PICKED UP.
- Do not pile leaves next to cars, if our machine cannot get to the leaves they will not be picked up.
- Every year we get behind on leaf pick-up, things come up that take our attention from leaf-pickup. Weather conditions cause a lot of delay. We will get the leaves, so please be patient.
NOTE: Tree limbs in front of properties must be trimmed high enough for leaf machine and street sweeper to clear, or that section will not be cleaned. Do not drive on or park close to leaf piles.
SECTION #1: Includes all property north of US 40 from the Whitewater River west to the city limits.
SECTION #2: Includes all property south of US 40 from the Whitewater River west to the city limits.
SECTION #3: Includes all property east of the Whitewater River to the city limits.
No other locations will be picked up.
